Custom Project Outsourcing

Client

The client is a binding and laminating equipment dealer with 30 years experience in the United States. They had an online store with a hosting company from which they could not access the source codes. They wanted us to duplicate their existing online store codes precisely so they could move their store host to another hosting provider, and also they could add functions to their store website later on. They demanded of us to duplicate not only looks and functions of the website but also the URL formations and any other details that might influence current user experiences, so they could maintain the user experiences and search engine ranking they have achieved.

Solution

We spent almost 1 month discussing with the client on the requirements and got to know all kinds of features of their existing system from their technical people. We started the development work after signing the contract. We evaluated two solutions before the project started, one was to build the website based on open source ecommerce applications, and the other was to build the website from scratch. The existing website had some features that made it very flexible for SEO and page modification, which could hardly be found on other systems. The client insisted on keeping all these features for their new site, so we chose the second solution. In order to inform the client of the process of the project on time, we reported the progress via RSS feed. The client subscribed to the RSS address and received fresh and most-up-to-date information on its project conveniently via outlook.

We will keep you closely in touch with us while your project is being conducted, and we will employ the most convenient and easy-to-use tools for our clients to achieve this goal.
